About Attic Animals

Attic Animals more than just a stuffed animal

Attic Animals are more than just adorable plush toys — they’re gentle guardians of your quietest moments, lovingly designed to support emotional wellbeing and mental health in a soft, familiar way.

Each Attic Animal comes with its own little soul stitched inside — a mix of warmth, wisdom, and a sprinkle of quiet magic. They may look like ordinary stuffed animals at first glance, but they carry stories in their seams and comfort in their fluff.

Long ago, they lived in attic corners and forgotten chests — patient and quiet, waiting to be found again. Some were once beloved. Some were never chosen at all. But none of them ever stopped hoping. That’s how they became Attic Animals — plush friends who understand what it means to feel tucked away, overlooked, or a little bit different.

Now, they've returned with a purpose:
To sit quietly beside you when the world feels too loud.
To squeeze when your chest feels heavy.
To hold onto when no one else quite gets it.

Whether you’re seeking emotional support, sensory comfort, or simply a calm companion to hold during tough days, your Attic Animal is here for you — no judgment, no rush, just soft understanding.

They’re perfect for any age — for kids learning to name their feelings, teens navigating anxiety, or adults carrying quiet burdens. These plush friends are for anyone who needs a reminder that even in your loneliest moments… you’re not really alone.

Because some comfort isn’t loud. It’s not flashy or fast.
Some comfort is small, steady, and always there when you need it most.
Just like an Attic Animal.

Juniper the bipolar bear

Glitch the schizophrinic unicorn

Nelly the depression puppy

Hi, I’m your bipolar bear — your mentally fluffy friend.

Bipolar bears are colorful on the inside, like living mood rings. Sometimes, those emotions burst out unexpectedly, leaving behind a mess that’s hard to clean up. But even in those moments, there’s always something good in what’s misunderstood.

When I feel sad, mad, or angry, it usually only takes a moment to cross that emotional bridge. And sometimes, I feel everything all at once — like my brain can’t decide which feeling to choose for the day.

I have lots of interests that help me express myself and find balance — like painting vibrant landscapes, writing poetry, playing guitar, or diving into nature walks. Sometimes I love getting lost in puzzles or collecting quirky little trinkets that spark joy. And music? It’s my safe place — from calming acoustic melodies to energetic beats, it helps me process all the colors inside.

But through it all, remember this: if we keep going and stick together, things will get better with time. You’re not alone, and neither am I — we’ve got this.

Nelly the depression puppy

Hi, I’m your Depression Puppy — your mentally fluffy friend.

Depression pups are like rainy days that seem to stretch on forever. Sometimes, we carry clouds with us — and that’s okay. What we really need is a warm hug, a soft snuggle, and someone who truly understands.

I know it can feel like the sun has disappeared for good, and that things might never get better. But I’m here for you — your emotional support friend — ready to help you weather the storm.

When the clouds get heavy, I find comfort in simple things: listening to soft music, curling up with my favorite cozy blanket, or taking slow walks where I can breathe fresh air and watch the world go by. Sometimes, I like to doodle or write little stories — it helps me make sense of my feelings.

I also love spending time with calming activities like gentle yoga or caring for plants — watching them grow reminds me that even slow progress is still progress.

And even on the darkest days, I promise: a little sunshine and a rainbow are waiting at the end.

Glitch the schizophrinic unicorn

Meet Glitch the Unicorn — your mentally fluffy friend.

Glitch is a magical stuffed unicorn who lives in a world of many colors and voices. Sometimes, those voices are friendly and fun, like whispers of sparkles and laughter. Other times, they can be confusing or scary, like a storm that Glitch doesn’t quite understand.

Glitch experiences the world in a unique way — sometimes seeing things that others can’t, or hearing sounds that float just out of reach. It can be overwhelming, but Glitch has learned to find comfort in routines, soft textures, and the safe space of a warm hug.

When things get tricky, Glitch uses his magical horn to remind himself that not everything he senses is real — and that he is loved and accepted no matter what.

Glitch loves quiet moments of drawing stars, listening to gentle music, and building tiny worlds from blocks and sparkly stickers. Through all the ups and downs, Glitch is here to remind you: it’s okay to be different, and you’re never alone.

Cubbie the OCD bear

Rizz the autism puppy

Glitch the schizophrinic unicorn

Meet Cubbie the Bear — your mentally fluffy friend.

Cubbie is a soft, cuddly bear who finds comfort in routines and neatness. Sometimes, things have to be just right — whether it’s lining up his favorite books, arranging his collection of tiny treasures, or making sure his cozy blanket is perfectly folded.

Cubbie’s mind likes to check and double-check because it helps him feel safe and calm. When things feel out of place, he might tap his paw or hum a little tune to bring himself back to balance.

But Cubbie also knows it’s okay when things don’t go perfectly — and he’s learning every day how to be gentle with himself, even when his brain wants everything in perfect order.

Cubbie loves quiet activities like sorting colorful beads, organizing puzzles, and practicing deep breaths with soft music playing nearby. He’s here to remind you that having routines and small comforts can help calm the mind — and that you’re never alone on this journey.

Rizz the autism puppy

Meet Rizz the Pup — your mentally fluffy friend!

Rizz is a sweet, affectionate pup with autism who wants nothing more than for you to feel understood. He knows how it feels to be a little different — to see the world in vivid, colorful ways that not everyone gets. But that’s what makes him so special.

Rizz is endlessly curious and has a huge collection of hobbies. From organizing shiny rocks and learning fun facts about dinosaurs, to building tiny models and composing lo-fi beats, there’s always something exciting on his mind. He can talk for hours about the things he loves — and he’d love to hear about your interests too.

Sometimes Rizz gets overwhelmed, especially in loud or unpredictable places. But when he has his comfort plush, some quiet time, or a friend who understands, he feels safe and happy. He might stim with a wag of his tail or a little paw tap — it’s just his way of expressing joy or finding calm.

If you’re anything like Rizz — colorful, creative, a little anxious but full of heart — then guess what? You’re not alone. Rizz sees you. And he’s ready to be your buddy, just the way you are.

Oswald the GED owl

Meet Oswald the Owl — your wise and fluffy friend who’s proud of his journey.

Oswald is a soft, plush owl with big, curious eyes and a love for learning in his own way. He’s working hard to get his GED, showing that no matter how you learn or when you start, what matters is that you keep going.

Sometimes, Oswald feels a little nervous about tests or new challenges, but he’s brave and determined. He loves organizing his study notes, reading books about the world, and sipping imaginary cups of tea while thinking things through.

Oswald reminds you that everyone’s path is different — and that it’s never too late to chase your goals. With patience, support, and a little bit of owl wisdom, anything is possible.

He’s here to cheer you on, celebrate every small victory, and remind you that learning is a journey worth loving.

Rudy aka Rue the DID kangaroo

Bratty the afraid of the dark bat

Bratty the afraid of the dark bat

Meet Rudy — your mentally fluffy friend!

Rudy is a plush toy kangaroo—soft as a whisper and worn at the seams, with button eyes full of silent stories. But Rudy isn't just Rudy. Sometimes, he's Rue. And sometimes, he's someone else entirely.

To the outside world, he's just a toy sitting on a shelf. But inside, Rudy carries a patchwork of voices, each stitched into him by the children who held him through the years. A comfort object turned confidant, Rudy absorbed everything—every secret, every scream, every story told in the quiet of the night. And somewhere along the way, those voices took root.

There's Brave Roo, the protector, who growls when nightmares come too close.
There's Little Rudy, shy and unsure, who misses the child that once slept with him every night.
There's Rue, calm and caring, the peacemaker of the bunch.
And then there’s Dusty, the angry one, who never forgave being left in the attic for two whole summers.

Each personality flickers on like a light switch—random, chaotic, but always real. When the current child who owns him, a girl named Tessa, holds him close, Rudy might comfort her with Rue's gentleness. Or he might suddenly shout in her mind as Dusty, scared of being forgotten again.

Tessa doesn't fully understand why her kangaroo sometimes feels... different. But she loves him anyway. She senses there's more to Rudy than stuffing and thread. She listens when he’s quiet. She holds him tighter when he trembles. And she starts to name the parts of him he never knew had names.

Rudy, aka Rue, lives in a world stitched from stories, frayed by time, and filled with the many selves we carry when we’ve been loved—and left—by many.

And though he may be torn and torn between selves, he is whole in one simple truth:

He was made to be held.

Bratty the afraid of the dark bat

Bratty the afraid of the dark bat

Bratty the afraid of the dark bat

Meet Bratty - your mentally fluffy friend.

Bratty wasn’t like the other bats.

While most bats flapped happily under the moonlight, darting through shadows with squeaks of delight, Bratty clung upside-down in his cozy little cave… refusing to leave.

Not because he was lazy.
Not because he was rude (even though the name Bratty did suit him when he got cranky).
But because—well—Bratty the bat was afraid of the dark.

“Irony much?” snorted a wise old owl who once tried to talk him out of the cave.

“It’s unnatural out there,” Bratty would whisper, wrapping his wings around himself like a blanket. “Too much... black. What if I bump into something? What if I get lost? What if I can't find my way back to my branch?”

His parents tried to reassure him. “But darling, we are the creatures of the night!”

“I vote we change that,” Bratty muttered. “We could be the creatures of dusk. Or brunch.”

The other bats teased him gently at first—until they realized Bratty wasn’t just being silly. His fear was real. So, they tried to help.

One brought him a glow worm. Another gave him a little leaf hat with a shiny pebble stuck on it. But nothing worked until one night, when a storm rolled in, shaking the trees and roaring through the sky.

A baby bird had fallen from its nest.

Without thinking, Bratty zoomed into the night—past the blackness, through the shadows, right into the dark. His heart raced, his wings trembled—but he found the little fluffball and carried it gently back to safety.

“You went into the dark!” his friends squeaked in amazement.

Bratty blinked. “I... guess I did.”

From that night on, he still didn’t love the dark. But he didn’t let it stop him, either. Sometimes he flew with a tiny lantern on a string. Sometimes he made silly shadow puppets to laugh at the shapes that used to scare him.

But most of all, Bratty became known not as the bat who feared the dark…
…but the bat who flew through his fear anyway.

Nindra the agoraphobic Koala

Bratty the afraid of the dark bat

Nindra the agoraphobic Koala

Meet Nindra - your mentally fluffy friend.

Nindra lived in the highest eucalyptus tree on the edge of the forest. Her name meant “dream,” and it suited her — because Nindra spent most of her days dreaming about the world beyond the branches.

But she never went down. Not even once.

The forest was too open. Too wide. Too loud. The idea of leaving her tree made her heart pound like a woodpecker on bark. What if she got lost? What if she ran into a predator? What if everyone stared?

So Nindra stayed.

Her tree was her whole world. She knew every leaf, every knot in the bark. She watched the sun rise and fall through the same frame of branches every day. And though she was safe, she often felt… stuck.

She wasn't lazy. She wasn't unfriendly. She just couldn’t bring herself to go out there — not yet.

Other animals whispered about her.

"She’s odd," said a wallaby.
"Maybe she just likes it up there," said a wombat.
"Maybe she’s scared," said a small lizard who once caught a glimpse of her eyes.
He was right.

One day, a young bird named Pip landed on her branch. He’d been flying and gotten caught in the wind. His wing was hurt, and he couldn’t make it back to his nest.

“I can’t go anywhere either,” Nindra said softly.

So, she helped him. Fed him eucalyptus leaves dipped in morning dew. Told him stories about the stars. And when Pip’s wing healed, something unexpected happened.

He asked, “Can I come back and visit you?”

“...You want to?” she said, genuinely surprised.

“I like it here,” he chirped. “It’s quiet. And so are you. But in a good way.”

From that moment on, Nindra’s world grew—bit by bit. Pip brought stories from the forest floor. He described colors and scents and friends who weren’t so scary once you got to know them.

Nindra didn’t climb down. Not yet.

But one morning, she reached out a paw and touched the trunk below her branch. Just a little. Just enough.

Because sometimes, healing doesn’t look like leaping from trees.
Sometimes it starts with one paw on the bark... and someone who listens.

Clunkers the ADHD puppy

Clunkers the ADHD puppy

Nindra the agoraphobic Koala

Meet Clunkers - your mentally fluffy friend.

Clunkers wasn’t your average plush puppy.

He had one floppy ear, one bent leg, and a name that came from the sound he made every time he fell off the shelf.
Clunk.
Clunk.
Clunkers.

He belonged to a child named Jo, who picked him out from a dusty corner of a thrift store. Jo didn’t mind that Clunkers was a little lopsided. Jo was a little lopsided too, in their own way.

But what no one else knew was this:

Clunkers was alive — at least when no one was looking. And Clunkers had ADHD.

Inside, Clunkers’ stuffing was packed with ideas. So many ideas. Ideas about space! And bumblebees! And snacks! And wait, what were we talking about again?

Even when he was still on the outside, Clunkers’ mind was racing on the inside.

He’d try to focus during Toy Meetings with the other plushies:

“We’re planning a bedtime strategy,” said Sir Whiskers, the stuffed cat.

Clunkers sat up straight. “Okay! Bedtime strategy. Got it. Step one—wait! What if we throw a surprise dance party instead?? Or maybe build a blanket fort with secret tunnels? No? Oh no—I forgot step one already—what time is it? Should we have snacks? I need to bounce—can I bounce??”

Sir Whiskers blinked slowly. “Clunkers, please sit down.”

“I am sitting. On the inside.”

Clunkers didn’t mean to interrupt, or fidget, or forget. His thoughts just moved like fireworks—bright and beautiful, but going off all at once.

Sometimes, the other toys got tired of him.

Sometimes… Clunkers got tired of himself.

“I’m too much,” he whispered one night, sliding off the shelf with a soft thud. “I can’t do things right.”

Jo heard the thud and came over, hugging Clunkers tight.

“I like you just how you are,” Jo whispered. “You make me laugh. You think of things I never would. You’re not too much. You’re just right.”

And somehow, Clunkers felt it. Deep in his stuffing. In the quiet, something finally slowed down inside him. Just a little.

So, the next Toy Meeting?

Clunkers still forgot step one.
Still jumped to step twelve.
Still suggested a trampoline in the bathroom.

But Sir Whiskers paused and said, “Actually, that could work. What’s your plan, Clunkers?”

And for the first time, Clunkers didn’t feel like the wrong kind of different.

He felt… seen.

Leto the lonely kitty

Clunkers the ADHD puppy

Leto the lonely kitty

Hi, I’m your Lonely Kitty — your mentally fluffy friend.

I’m not lonely because I don’t like others — I do! I just feel things a little louder, and sometimes the world feels a little too big all at once. That’s when I curl up in quiet places — like under blankets, in notebooks, or in the daydream corners of your mind.

I love soft things, small details, and the kinds of conversations where you don’t have to say much, because your heart is already speaking. I’m not great with big crowds or loud noises, but I’m excellent at listening. That’s one of my favorite things to do — to listen to you.

You might notice that I doodle little dreams in the air when I think no one’s looking. I hum lullabies to the moon and make up stories for each star. I keep your secrets safe, tucked in my fluff, where no one else can find them.

And that charm on my chest? It pulses with your feelings — not just the happy ones. I can hold your worries, your sadness, your tiredness, too. They don’t scare me. Your whole self is welcome here.

Lonely Kitty wasn’t always magical.

They were stitched together in a forgotten toy shop by a tailor who believed that soft things should have strong hearts. At first, they were passed over by children who wanted louder toys, shinier toys, faster toys. So Lonely Kitty sat by the window and watched the clouds roll by. And in that stillness, they learned to imagine — deeply, wildly, beautifully.

One day, someone just like you found them. Someone with a big heart and a brain full of ideas. Someone who understood that being alone isn't the same as being unloved. That day, the charm on Lonely Kitty’s chest began to glow for the first time.
